The SIRIUS Innovations line of power control products incorporates sustainable elements resulting in efficient space and simplified assembly for labor savings while reducing power consumption to give you maximum control over your energy management system. The line from the Siemens Industry Automation Division will be released in early 2011 and also offers an industry first by offering IO-Link communication modules. These modules dramatically reduce control wiring and quickly snap onto contactors of direct, reversing and wye-delta motor starters up to 30 HP allowing status and diagnostic data communication to the TIA platform. In addition to IO-Link, AS-Interface communication modules for motor starters have also been added to the product range.

Increased power performance up to 40A in a reduced 45mm footprint is a key benefit to the space savings offered by the line.  The power control product offering includes a line of motor starter protectors, contactors, overload relays, and a new line of current monitoring relays that mount directly to the contactor.
