Most people are familiar with door control technology in supermarkets and other public places. As you approach the entrance, a sensor is triggered. The door then opens – or at least, it is supposed to. Sometimes the door moves too slowly. Sometimes the sensor is triggered when people are passing as opposing to entering/leaving the building. At other times, the door sticks or continues to close when someone or something is present.

The system automatically detects all relevant door characteristics without the need for individual programming, then establishes the open- and closed-door positions as two clearly defined states. The door is continuously controlled between these positions according to the guidelines of the application.
