The CPU 1515SP PC2 (F/T/TF) is a rugged, compact controller system that combines the functionality of a Windows 10 OS in an Intel Quad core PC with a powerful automation controller. The controller can be used to control IIOT communications, series machines’ operations or control plant operations in a distributed configuration.
The ET 200SP Open Controller, CPU 1515SP PC2 is available now in Standard / Failsafe / Technology (motion control) / Motion Control / Failsafe configurations.
The ET 200SP I/O modules can be plugged in directly to the controller for a central rack configuration via the integrated backplane bus to the controller. S7 communication open user communication and distributed I/O’s can be connected via the PROFINET port of the CPU 1515SP PC2 (F) PC. The PROFIBUS CM DP module adds PROFIBUS communication to the CPU 1515SP PC.
For integrated HMI functionality, the CPU 1515SP PC2 (F) controllers are offered with preinstalled HMI Runtime Advanced WinCC software.
